Music

Our Music Program provides students with exciting opportunities to explore, create and perform music in a fun and supportive environment. Through hands-on learning experiences, students develop confidence, teamwork and creativity while building important musical skills such as rhythm, listening, performance and collaboration. We encourage all students to participate, take creative risks and discover the joy of making music together.

Students engage with a wide range of instruments including ukuleles, guitars, xylophones, marimbas and percussion. Across all year levels, students learn to perform individually and as part of an ensemble while exploring different musical styles and cultures. For students wanting to extend their musical interests, we run lunchtime bands that provide opportunities to rehearse and perform with others in a collaborative setting. We also offer one-to-one instrumental tuition on Mondays and Fridays, giving students the chance to further develop their instrumental skills and confidence. Our program aims to inspire a lifelong appreciation of music through engaging classroom activities, performances and creative learning experiences.
